Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026 (events, public links and visit statistics added)
Plated Pickem (platedpickem.com) is a free fan game to predict the order in which the Plated Legends will be drafted at the Riftbound Regional Championships (such as Stuttgart and Las Vegas). This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
The site is run by an individual fan organiser. For anything related to your data, contact contacto@platedpickem.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your username, your email address and your password. The password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider; nobody can read it, not even us.
- Your predictions: the order in which you place the legends, one per event.
- Public link (only if you create one): a preview image of your prediction, so it can be shown when you share the link.
- Security data: your IP address and an anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) when you sign up, log in or request a password reset. IP-based attempt counters are deleted within 24 hours.
- Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views anonymously without cookies and without identifying you.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your login session and selected event locally (local storage) only so the site works.
Why we use it
- To create and run your account and save your prediction (necessary to provide the game you sign up for).
- To send you account emails: confirming your email address and resetting your password. We do not send newsletters or marketing.
- To protect the site from bots, spam and abuse (our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and secure).
What other people can see
Your username and your points appear on the public leaderboard once results are published. Predictions are shown to others only as anonymous totals in the community ranking, unless you choose to create a public link: then anyone with the link can see your username and that prediction, including when it is shared on social networks. You can make it private again at any time, which also deletes its preview image. Your email is never shown.
Who processes the data for us
- Supabase – accounts, database and preview images of public links, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Resend – sending account emails, from the EU (Ireland).
- Cloudflare – hosting of the website, the Turnstile anti-bot check and anonymous visit statistics.
When you open the site, your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and card images from Piltover Archive and X (Twitter), which receive your IP address as part of any normal web request. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU under the safeguards required by the GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and prediction while your account exists. After the event we may delete inactive accounts. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to contacto@platedpickem.com from the email address of your account. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
